Kaanum Pongal - Kodumudiyaru Dam

We made a short trip to Kodumudiyaru Dam on 'Kaanum Pongal' day (17-Jan-2010). Kodumudyaru dam is around 15 Kms from our home at Vallioor. My father, my mother, my wife and myself took our Santro while some of my relatives who accompanied us took their Swift Dzire.

Its around 5'O clock when we reached there. And we made use of the ample space before the dam for parking our cars.

We spent some time on the dam for the sceneries, photographs and some chats on the operations of the dam.

As already planned, myself, my father and two of my relatives took bath in the dam water as rest spent the time by watching us playing in the water. It was a very pleasant evening we enjoyed as there was no other humans over there to disturb the scene.

After having enough bath, we started to our home by around 6:30 PM.

தல பொங்கல்!

இவ்வாண்டு பொங்கல் எனக்கு 'தலை பொங்கல்'.   ஆம்! எனக்கு திருமணமானபின் வரும் முதல் பொங்கல். பொங்கலுக்கு முதல்நாள் கடைகளுக்கு சென்று அடுப்புகட்டி, பணஓலை மற்றும் பொங்கலுக்கு தேவையான பொருட்களை திருநெல்வேலியில் இருந்து வாங்கி வந்தோம். அனைத்தையும் வாங்கி வீட்டுக்கு வரும்போது மணி இரவு பத்துக்கு மேல் ஆகிவிட்டது.

அதற்கு பிறகு நான், என் அம்மா, மற்றும் என் மனைவி மூவரும் சேர்ந்து வீட்டு வாசலில் கோலம் போட்டு, அடுப்புகட்டிகளுக்கு வண்ணம் பூசி, வீட்டு முற்றத்தில் மணல் பரப்பி, கரும்பு மஞ்சள் சேர்த்து வாசலில் தோரணம் கட்டி முடித்தோம். நாள் முழுவதும் அலைந்துவிட்டு, களைப்போடு செய்தாலும் மனதிற்க்கு மிகவும் சந்தோஷமாய் இருந்தது.

பொங்கல் அன்று அதிகாலை 4:30 மணிக்கு எழுந்து குளித்து அனைவரும் பொங்கல் விட வீட்டு வாசலுக்கு வந்தோம். அம்மா, அப்பா, தம்பி, நான் மற்றும் என் மனைவி என ஐவரும் சந்தோசமாக அடுப்பை பற்றவைத்தோம். பொங்கல் சிறப்பாக பொங்கியது கிழக்கு நோக்க. பொங்கலை கடவுளுக்கு படைத்தது வழிபட்டோம்.

என் மைத்துனர்கள் (என் மனைவியின் சகோதரர்கள்) கழுகுமலையில் பொங்கல் கொண்டாடிவிட்டு இங்கு (வள்ளியூர்) வந்திருந்தார்கள். அவர்களோடு சென்று நாங்கள் அன்று மலை காட்சி சிறுத்தை திரைப்படத்துக்கு சென்றோம். இப்படி தலை பொங்கல் சிறப்பாக முடிந்தது.

வெற்றியின் பாதை

இன்றைய நாளிதழில், அப்துல் கலாம் பள்ளி குழந்தைகளுடன் கலந்துரையாடியதை பற்றி படித்தேன். அக்கலந்துரையாடலில், அவர் தான் எழுதிய பின்வரும் கவிதையை நினைவு கூர்ந்திருந்தார். படித்ததும் பிடித்தது.

எண்ணத்திலே தூய்மை இருந்தால்
நடத்தையில் அழகு மிளிரும்!
நடத்தையில் அழகு மிளிர்ந்தால்
குடும்பத்தில் சாந்தி நிலவும்!
குடும்பத்தில் சாந்தி இருந்தால்
நாட்டில் சீர்முறையும், உலகத்தில் அமைதியும் நிலவும்!
நம்பிக்கையோடு எதையும் துணிவோடு செய்தால்
நாம் வெற்றி அடைவது உறுதி!

6. If you find any important documents like Driving license, Ration card, Passport, Bank Pass Book, etc., missed by someone, simply put them into near by any Post Box. They will automatically reach the Owner and Fine will be collected from them.
7. By the next 10 months, our earth will become 4 degrees hotter than what it is Now. Our Himalayan glaciers are  melting at rapid rate. So all of you Lend your hands to fight GLOBAL WARMING.

• Don't waste Water & Electricity.
• Don't use or burn Plastics
8. It costs 38 Trillion dollars to create OXYGEN for 6 months for all Human beings on earth. Trees do it for free. Respect them and Save them.

2011 ஆம் ஆண்டின் முதல் நாள்

ஆங்கில புத்தாண்டை இம்முறை நாங்கள் வரவேற்றது மன்மதன் அம்போடு. ஆம்! காலை எழுந்து சொந்தங்கள், நண்பர்கள் மற்றும் தெரிந்தவர்கள் என அனைவருக்கும் புத்தாண்டு வாழ்த்துக்கள் தெரிவித்துவிட்டு நாங்கள் மன்மதன் அம்பு பார்ப்பதற்கு கிளம்பியபோது நேரம் காலை 10:30 மணி.

சத்யம் திரையரங்கில் காலை 11:15 மணி காட்சி. சோள்ளிங்கநல்லூரிலிருந்து சத்யம் திரையரங்கிற்கு செல்ல வேண்டும். படத்திற்கு தாமதமாகத்தான் சொல்வோம் என்று எண்ணி காரை கிளப்பினேன். ஆனால் ஆச்சர்யம்! சாலையில் வாகன நெரிசல் அதிகம் இல்லாததால் பதினைந்து நிமிடங்கள் முன்னதாகவே சத்யம் சென்றடைந்தோம்.

முதல் பாதி நன்றாகவே இருந்தது. இடைவேளை வரை நேரம் போனதே தெரியவில்லை என்று சொல்லலாம். முதல் பாதியில் நான் ரசித்த சில வசனங்களை இங்கே சொல்லியாக வேண்டும். மாதவன் த்ரிஷாவிடம் "நான் இந்த உலகத்தையே உன் காலடியில் வைப்பேன்" என்று சொல்ல. அதற்கு த்ரிஷாவோ "யாரும் யாரோடைய காலிலையும் உலகத்தை வைக்க வேண்டாம். அது அங்கதான் இருக்கு. பிச்சகாரனுக்கு கூட உலகம் காலுக்கு அடியில் தான் இருக்கிறது." என்று சொல்வார். மாதவன் கமலிடம் த்ரிஷாவை திமிர் பிடித்தவள் என்று சொல்ல. அதற்கு கமல் "நேர்மையா இருக்கிறவங்ககிட்ட திமிர் இருக்கத்தான் செய்யும். அது மட்டும் இல்லேன்னா அவங்கள ஏரி மேயஞ்சிட்டு போயிருவாங்க" என்று சொல்வார்.

த்ரிஷாவை உளவு பார்பதற்காக கமலை அனுப்பியிருப்பார் மாதவன் (காரணம், மாதவனும் த்ரிஷாவும் காதலர்கள். நிச்சயதார்த்தம் வரை சென்றிருக்கும் இவர்கள் காதல்). இதை தவிர கமலுக்கும் இவ்விருவர்க்கும் வேறு எந்த சம்பதமும் இருக்காது, இடைவேளைக்கு சற்று முன்னர் வரை.  அனால் கமலுடைய வாழ்க்கையில் இந்த காதலர்கள் (மாதவன், த்ரிஷா) அவர்கள் அறியாமலே வந்து போயிருப்பர் என்று நமக்கு உணர்த்தும் இடத்தில் இடைவேளை.

இடைவேளைக்கு பிறகுதான் படம் சுமார் ரகம் என்று சொல்லும் அளவுக்கு செல்கிறது. படம் பார்ப்பவர்களை சிரிக்க வைக்க நன்றாக முயற்சி செய்திருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் நகைச்சுவையை விட அவர்கள் அதற்கு செய்யும் முயற்சி தான் நமக்கு தெரிவதால் சிரிப்பு வரவில்லை பரிதாபம்தான் வருது. குறிப்பாக பின் பாதியில் கமல், சங்கீதா மற்றும் கூட்டாளிகள் செய்யும் சேஷ்டைகள் சகிக்கல.

மாதவனின் கதாபாத்திரத்தை போதைலையே எழுதிருப்பர் போல. அவ்வளவு குழப்பம். உதாரணமாக, படத்தில் மாதவன் த்ரிஷாவின் நடத்தையில் சந்தேகப்பட்டு அவரை கல்யாணம் பண்ணாமல், கல்யாணம் ஆகி விவாகரத்து பெற்ற விவகாரமான சங்கீதாவோடு செல்வது போல் காட்டியிருக்கின்றனர். த்ரிஷா கமலோடு சென்றால்தான் மக்கள் சந்தோஷபடுவர்கள் என்று எண்ணியிருப்பர் போல. யார் சந்தோஷபட்டிருப்பார் என்று அந்த ஆண்டவனுக்குத்தான் வெளிச்சம்.

ஒரு வழியாக படத்தை முடித்துவிட்டு மெரினா கடற்கரையில் சிறிது நேரம் போக்கிவிட்டு வீடு திரும்பினோம்.
